Austria is a walker's paradise, from rolling hills and gentle pastures to rugged mountain peaks and glaciers, it offers a wide range of landscapes. All of this can be discovered on our self-guided walking holidays, whether you wish to challenge yourself on one of our Alpine Crossings or combine nature and culture, strolling along the shores of the Salzburg Lakes before wandering its baroque old town framed by an impressive Alpine backdrop.
We have been running self-guided walking holidays in Austria since 2012. Our extensive research and our partnership with our German sister company, lead us to seek out more and more areas where we could help people to discover Austria on foot. We provide the freedom to choose your route, itinerary and travel companions to discover Austria at your own pace.
We have a wide range of tours to choose from with plenty of opportunities to get away from the tourist hustle and bustle once you have hit the trail. Take on the dramatic Kitzbühel Alpine Trail (KAT Trail), with its stunning views and baroque towns. Embark on the E5 Alpine Crossing, as it takes you through Italy, Austria and Germany in one legendary trek. Alternatively, walk in the footsteps of Ötzi, a natural mummy found in the Similaun Mountains on our Otztal Trail trip. Whatever your preference is, all you need to do is pick your route and let us take care of everything else.
