As our walks here are typically shorter, you can set the pace to slow and stop off along the way for that long, leisurely lunch or for a swim in the warm sea.

In Catalonia on our Walking the Catalan Coast trip, the main event is the jaw-droppingly beautiful yet rugged Costa Brava coastline, where you can stop at a small cove or café for fresh seafood. Or why not cycle through idyllic villages, vineyards, olive groves and orchards on our Cycling in Catalonia tour.

In the Balearic Islands, you'll discover the quiet, more rural side of each island. On Mallorca Coast and Mountain Trails, the beautiful limestone Tramuntana mountains tumble to the sparkling Mediterranean. Here you'll visit pretty stone villages and wander past fragrant citrus groves. On our nearby Trails of Ibiza and Formentera, you'll discover pretty coves and hop over to tranquil Formentera.

Walking in Costa Almeria features a beautiful coastline and a dramatic, more arid interior. This was the filming location for many of the 'Spaghetti Westerns', and is interspersed with gold mines and traditional villages.
