Walk the Abel Tasman Track, New Zealand’s most relaxed Great Walk, staying in superior accommodations. Situated at the very north of the South island, see a great diversity of wildlife, including fur seals and little blue penguins. Also experience a picturesque mix of inviting sandy beaches, lush coastal forest and pristine clear streams that tumble into the sea. You will be immersed in scenic splendour during your 3 days of walking in New Zealand’s smallest national park. It was established in 1942, exactly 300 years after Abel Tasman, the Dutch explorer anchored here. Enjoy overnight stays in deluxe, superior and spa rooms in a hotel in Nelson and lodges in impressive locations.

Day 1 Arrive Nelson and overnight Day 2 Transfer to Marahau. Water taxi to Torrent Bay. Walk to Awaraoa Inlet 9.5 miles / 15 km Day 3 Walk Awaroa Inlet to Totaranui 5 miles / 8 km Day 4 Walk Wainui to Totaranui. Travel to Nelson 9.5 miles / 15 km
