Valentines day | Enjoy a soak in Europe's hot springs

What’s more romantic than soaking in a hot steamy spring with your loved one? Rich in sulphur and an array of other minerals, the waters are considered to have endless health and beauty benefits. That aside, there’s nothing quite like the buzz from a dip in a thermal spring, especially after a long day’s hike! Here are out Top 5 spots to soak which can be combined with an adventure holiday!

Terme di Saturnia, Tuscany Italy

An idyllic Tuscan paradise. In the middle of the Maremma countryside lies the Terme di Saturnia, one of Italy’s luxury thermal spa resorts. It’s located above a crater of volcanic origin feeding water straight into the heart of the resort.

Blue Lagoon, Iceland

We're often skeptical about tourist hotspots with such hype, however, this dreamy turquoise pool is well worth a visit. It’s located just 30 minutes from Reykjavík, surrounded by magical lava fields. Often mistaken as a natural wonder, but it's actually man-made fed by mineral-rich water from the nearby geothermal power planet. After a week of hiking or driving around Iceland, soaking here will feel like a tiny slice of heaven.  Bonus points go to the on-site bar and mud mask station (see pic below)
